Role Overview

As a Builder, you will be responsible for designing and constructing builds that match the server’s theme and vision. You will work closely with developers and administrators to ensure builds are both visually impressive and functional for gameplay.

This role is perfect for someone who:

• Loves creative building and world design
• Pays attention to detail
• Enjoys collaborating on large projects

Responsibilities

• Design and build spawns, hubs, maps, and themed areas
• Create terrain, landscapes, and custom environments
• Collaborate with staff to match builds to gameplay needs
• Revise or improve existing builds when needed
• Follow build guidelines, themes, and scale requirements
• Assist with special projects and seasonal builds

Requirements

• Strong building skills and creativity
• Good understanding of scale, detail, and block palettes
• Ability to follow themes and reference concepts
• Clear communication and ability to accept feedback

Preferred (but not required):

• Experience building on multiplayer servers
• Familiarity with Hytale built-in creative tools (or similar)
• Experience with custom terrain or organic builds
• Portfolio of previous builds (screenshots, videos, maps)

• Produce high-quality builds within agreed timelines
• Maintain consistency with the server’s visual style
• Be respectful and cooperative with other staff members
• Make adjustments based on feedback when necessary
