Community Manager

Role Overview

As a Community Manager, you will be responsible for shaping the overall community experience. This role goes beyond moderation—you will act as the bridge between players and staff, manage communication, organize engagement initiatives, and help define the server’s public image.

This position is ideal for someone who is:

• Organized and proactive
• Great at communication and planning
• Passionate about building strong online communities

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow the server’s community (in-game, Discord, social platforms)
• Communicate announcements, updates, and events clearly to players
• Act as the main point of contact between players and the staff team
• Gather and summarize community feedback for administrators
• Oversee and guide moderators and support staff
• Help create, plan, and promote community events
• Enforce community standards and ensure a positive atmosphere
• Assist with onboarding new staff members

Requirements

• Strong written communication skills in English
• Good understanding of Hytale / Minecraft communities and player behavior
• Ability to handle feedback, criticism, and conflict professionally
• Leadership and team coordination skills
• High level of maturity, responsibility, and discretion

Preferred (but not required):

• Previous experience as a Community Manager, Moderator Lead, or Admin
• Experience managing Discord servers and community tools
• Familiarity with basic analytics, polls, or feedback systems
• Experience with social media or community announcements
